A risky puzzle to maximize kiln efficiancy in order to fit some sculptures I made in with orders.
I’m excited to see if these cups come out true to the testers I made. They should look like the dark mug in the second photo below.
Another beautiful post from Spoon Fork Bacon of Peanut Butter and Jelly Potato Chip Bars. These bright red and white stoneware plates were a custom order for the ladies of Spoon Fork Bacon. Its such a treat to have someone else photograph my work!
If you have photos of a piece you’ve bought from me in your home, I would love to see them too.
I’ve just marked down lots of items in the shop to make way for new work. Many items are discontinued so get them now! Visit the sale section of my shop.
I recently took a few process snapshots in my studio. I know not everyone is familiar with the 3 major stages that every ceramic piece goes through, so below is a brief outline of them.

Bisque ware ready to get glazed after its first firing -
Glazed cups after their second firing -
Chef Ricky Odbert in San Francisco plated this beautiful potato salad on one of my large white dinner plates and was kind enough to take some photos to share with you all. Thanks Chef!
New work is coming out of the kiln and I’ll be adding it to my Etsy shop over the next couple of weeks. Those two grey bowls are stoneware and a new size for 2014. I’ve been testing out this size (although glazed in turquoise) in my kitchen and am really enjoying them.
I’m working more and more simple white plates into rotation for the minimalists out there so look for those in the shop coming soon. Happy New Year everyone!

My first series of Puddle Cups are trickling into my Etsy shop now. In total there are only 21 pieces so this is a very small edition. I have plans to make another series in different colors for next year. It’s very tempting to keep a couple of these pieces that I’ve fallen in love with (especially this canister which I REALLY want). All of the clays – grey & white stoneware as well as the porcelain are made in my shop. The glaze is also special to my studio.
